Jellytree was formed in the early 90’s as a group of friends who use video as a means of visual expression.

We started working with local bands, collaborating with artists and DJ’s to create complete audio / visual experiences using multi-camera & screen installations with visual effects that could be displayed on banks of old TV’s that we collected and got working. This was made easy as my first job was as a TV/VIDEO technician for a rental company.

It was not long before the dance music scene exploded in the UK, and we found ourselves projected (literally) into a world of all night video mixing and week long festivals, experimenting & learning as we went along.

As a part of a Guildford based creative collective ‘COG’, we went on to set up multi-room indoor festivals of our own (Wicked Friday 1995) and Guildford’s first community arts and environmental festival, ‘The Ambient Picnic’ .

In 1997 we formed the official partnership ‘Jellytree Video Arts’. This became ‘Jellytree Productions Ltd’ in 1999, bringing onboard a greater range of experiences and skills.

Today we still experiment, play, learn and create and we are very keen to pass our experiences on to you though our work, services and workshops. Please check out our website, and if you would like to find out more, call or email. I look forward to hearing from you.
